teepee are releasing new album “blue moon rising”Once again, the dream-pop duo has teamed up with British producer Tom O. Marsh and the Berlin-based label SPRINGSTOFF.It's been four long years since their last album, Where The Ocean Breaks, and much has changed in the lives of the songwriters Tereza Lavičková and Miroslav Patočka. In that time, they've experienced significant life changes: the pandemic, relocating to a new country, completing school, career shifts, break-ups, weddings, new musical projects, and welcoming new members to their live band. These moments of both joy and sadness have deeply influenced their new album, blue moon rising, which offers listeners a glimpse into their emotional journeys and the evolving friendship between Tereza and Miroslav. The album blue moon rising features eight tracks that guide the listener through themes ranging from depression and personal challenges to lighter moments of shared connection and friendship. The album culminates in the song “baby soul,” which reflects on the importance of healing and reconnecting with one's inner child.In addition to Tom O. Marsh’s production, Tereza Lavičková produced two tracks herself (interlude and wide awake but tired), and the song “blind tomorrow” was co-produced by former band member Prokop Korb (badfocus).blue moon rising will be released on Friday, September 13, by SPRINGSTOFF. It will be available on vinyl and all major streaming platforms.
